Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • Rigatoni pasta 500 grams (1 box)
  • Butter 60 grams
  • Plain flour 60 grams
  • Milk 600 ml
  • Parsley 5 sprigs (0.75 cups)
  • Tuna 300 grams
  • Pizza cheese 200 grams

Steps

  1. Make bechamel by melting butter in a medium pot on medium-low heat, adding flour and then gradually the warm milk, stirring thoroughly. Once all milk is added, simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Boil water and add salt. Add pasta when bechamel is nearly finished.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced.
  4. Chop parsley.
  5. Strain pasta and add back to pot, mix in all ingredients, saving some cheese to top with. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour into tray, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 20 minutes until brown.
