Made on 2024-11-21 for first time. They came up a not very cute shape, I think I should trim the dry ends of the pastry before baking. I froze some and they baked weird but still tasted fine, next time should half bake I think. Also, the meat shrinks so should have overfilled. Measured the filling at 1354 so 170 grams per roll and then halved again. Delicious though, I had 3 for dinner. Also, I used lean beef mince from a fancy butcher and it was still greasy, was meant to use veal but couldn’t find it. For sausage mince I bought sausages at the fancy butcher and they deskinned them for me, but coles sells.
