Milo Biscuits

From Food.com, but altered to match Nanna’s classic version. Really easy to make, yields a very crispy biscuit. 2022/09/14 revision: took 15 or 20 minutes, heat on the high side of 160 FF, press flat and score with fork, using 3 cm balls

Ingredients

  • Butter 125 grams
  • Brown sugar 0.5 cups
  • Caster sugar 0.5 cups
  • Vanilla 2 tsp
  • Eggs 1 whole
  • Plain flour 1.75 cups
  • Milo 0.5 cups

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees
  2. Mix sugars, vanilla and butter until creamy
  3. Add egg, then flour, then milo and mix until combined
  4. Form into 3cm (was 2cm) balls and squash onto tray with a fork, leave plenty of room for them to spread
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes
