Egg Fried Rice

Basic recipe when hungry.

Ingredients

  • Rice 1 cup
  • Brown onions 1 whole
  • Carrots 1 whole
  • Peas 0.5 cups
  • Eggs 3 whole
  • Ginger 2 cm
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • Sweet chilli sauce to taste

Steps

  1. Add rice and 2 cups water to a saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. (Check packet for correct method, can't remember).
  2. Fry onions on high heat til edges brown, then reduce heat and cook as slowly as bothered to.
  3. Whisk eggs.
  4. When rice nearly arrived, add carrots, peas, ginger and soy sauce to frypan.
  5. In separate pan, scramble eggs.
  6. Ensure rice is drained, then combine all ingredients and add more sauce.
