Beef Burgers

Make sure you get the frypan nice and hot, or the patties will come out gray.

Ingredients

  • Brioche buns 6 whole
  • Sliced cheese 12 whole
  • Tomato 2 whole
  • Iceberg lettuce 0.25 heads
  • Frozen potato chips 400 grams (0.5 bag)
  • Brown onions 1 whole
  • Beef mince 0.5 kgs
  • Breadcrumbs 0.5 cups
  • Eggs 1 whole
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Pepper 2 tsp

Steps

  1. Slice onions, fry in pan on medium heat for as long as you'll wait, until brown
  2. Slice tomatoes, lettuce into big slices.
  3. Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
  4. Bake chips for 30 minutes or according to packet.
  5. Mix mince, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper in bowl and shape into 6 patties.
  6. Mix tomato sauce, mayonnaise, mustard in a bowl.
  7. In a grill or toaster, brown the inside of the buns.
  8. On high heat, add oil, salt and pepper to a pan and place 3 patties at a time on it. Cook for 3 minutes a side.
  9. Assemble burgers and serve.
