Prep is done, that went super fast and super easy. I think this recipe should actually be treated with a much more easy going attitude than I usually have, it’s downright fun. I got out a big bowl and did all the mixing with my hands and reused the bowl for the topping too. The mix didn’t all fit in the cute container I picked out (I normally use a large and shallow pyrex for maximum crumble) so I put the rest in a little ramekin. Took 25 minutes to prep tops.

Made just the crumble topping to have with ice-cream. Super fast to prep, I put it in the fridge for when we got back home an hour later. I reckon it crumbles into nicer chunks when still warm.

Making tonight with maybe 1.5kg of small red apples, assuming I’ll lose aa lot to coring.

Okay its in the oven but I did watch a lot of music videos instead of cutting apples so.

Finished it off under the grill and it burnt in 60 seconds, plus is not more crispy (I think less). Was maybe too sweet too.
