Apple Crumble

Time: 1 hr 15 min Yields: serves Cost: $1.84 per serve Difficulty: 1/10

From Recipe Tin Eats. Make sure the oven has a hot top element for browning. Flour to the apples is a neat trick, makes the base all syrupy. Plenty of crumble in this ratio. Don’t need to precook the apple. Do need to buy cream/ice-cream. A shallow and large baking dish gives you better mileage for the crumble.
