unbelievable amount of old media. if it’s aged out of copyright this site probably has it. you
can stream whole old movies. here's a
full day of radio broadcast from 1939. their search isn't great, if i want something on
there i type it into google and then
add ‘internet archive’
lets you see old versions of websites. not even like retro like if you go to read an article and the
link is broken because they moved it you can try here and see what used to be there. for big sites
they have lots of snapshots. operated by internet archive.
easily the least practical in this section but a huge and really thoughtfully archived collection of
old videogames and emulators. e.g. i can play every atari game on my laptop because of this site +
retroarch. i don't but i can.
this is where i learnt to code html (content) and css (appearance). thats all you need to make a
little website. this tutorial looks really corporate but its free and actually just one guy who
loves it. i got it from tumblr.
the people who made firefox. the above is good for learning html and css. but then after that, mdn
is a really great reference guide. for any html element or css rule i get stuck on i just type its
name and 'mdn' into google and their page comes up.
